I live in QLD and have been trying to get the correct advice on installing a transducer for deep water use. I called Alex who was happy to give me his advice and knowledge on what to do. Alex and his team at All Marine Services fixed up my boat after a drunk driver hit the trailer and boat.Couldn't recommend Alex enough. Also manufactured a new dash, installed Trim Tabs, kill tank and new through hull transducer while getting the insurance job repaired.Alex didn't rush the job and was very patient even with a few annoying phone calls from my end asking about my boat.Always went out of his way to get the information I needed10/10 servicethanks

Alex took on the job of installing a wakeboard tower and adjusting my trailer to fit my boat. Unfortunately, the tower measurements were out by a foot and my trailer was not really compatible for my boat. Despite this, Alex was able to engineer adjustments for both and delivered a finished product that I was extremely happy with. I highly recommend him for any boating solution. Iain Rowe

The most pathetic workmanship ive ever seen. Alex lied and ripped us off to the tune of $7400, to half polish a 23ft boat and fit a rub rail that was supplied.The boat was poorly polished, was returned with compound in every corner. Not only that on pick up he dragged the outboard along the ground and nearly ripped the ladder off. Alex doesnt provide quote prior to starting work even after repeat requests. We have had the boat reviewed by 4 shops with reports provided. The repairs of the poor workmanship now far exceed what they would have before we took the boat to Ams. We have started legal proceeding against Alex and since speaking about this, i understand im not the only extremely dissapointed customer. The photo below shows Alex moving the boat dragging the ladder and outboard along the ground. Even after telling him he continued. The other photo shows how poor the few touch ups they completed, i question the qualifications of any of the staff at Ams after the feedback from other shipwrights.

Had Williams tender in for repair and $6000 later and 4 trips back and forth over 4 months and the boat is still not running. Later found that I was charged an insane amount for the work done compared to other repairers. Just sold boat at a huge loss. I could never recommend this outfit. I am not alone.AlexI bagged you to Williams the manufacture in the UK as I was at a loss after you having my boat for the best part of three months.I am not an engineer but an ROV supervisor that works on subsea robotics but have a good idea of what it takes to troubleshoot and repair boats. I have grown up with boats and owned seven in the last 20 years.Yes the motor would run in your shop on the hose but soon as in the water it would die. I had picked up the boat three times from your shop, put it in the water and same problem.I did not do any work except check obvious items like connectors and grounds. By no means did I change any components or interfere with any of what you had done. I did suspect the relay after the 4th time I picked up the boat which I brought back from AMS not running properly yet again. I was at wits end by now after spending a total of $8000 in parts and repairs.The work I did was change steering cable, replace engine mounts, install towing valve etc. while you had the engine out and after that, the boat has been problematic.You only pre-quoted by text the price of the parts but no quote on the labor costs. I have paid for 22 hours of labor to change rotor & stator (charging System) and another 10.7 hours to change a fuel pump, MAP sensor and Coolant sensor.You really spun a great reply but not quite the truth. With all the proof I have, I would easily win in small claims but I really want this to all go away. I have never in my life filed a claim or made a formal complaint to Consumer Affairs until now. Unfortunately Consumer Affairs felt I had a very good case, they are toothless tigers and depend on you to do the right thing.The one thing you are right about, is I should have had the boat looked at or spent more time myself. The boat actually ran great before finding out the charging system was faulty. The problems started once AMS removed the engine and it appears the wiring harness got damaged. The new owner will be willing to spend what it takes as I basically gave the boat away to free myself.I would not recommend ASM to my worst enemy after what I went through. When you take a boat or car to a specialist, you expect a knowledge base that effectively troubleshoots and repairs in a reasonable amount of time. You were using Weber Power and Google to diagnose my boat and charging me for the time you took to guess.Any video you have of the boat running in the shop, I have as well and I have the video of it barely running in the water within hours of picking up from AMS. At what point would you not put the boat in the water to see for yourself. It boggles my mind.
